LDMonlineā„¢ Celebrates Second Anniversary

5/21/2013

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – May 21, 2013. Skinder-Strauss Associates, publisher of the Lawyers Diary and Manual® (LDM), is celebrating the second anniversary of the launch of its enormously popular online version of Lawyers Diary and Manual, LDMonline™, this month. Since its introduction in May 2011, LDMonline registrations have soared, and subscriber usage continues to increase with each product upgrade and new feature release.

LDMonline is a comprehensive database of the legal community, including lawyers, firms, courts, agencies, support services, and more – all of the frequently referenced directory information from the traditional printed Lawyers Diary and Manual, along with websites and email addresses, in an online format. Because LDMonline is continually updated, subscribers always have access to the most current information needed in their daily practice.

Facts & figures about LDMonline:
~ Over the past two years nearly 4 million updates and additions made to the database
~ Tracks over 500,000 attorneys, and in the past year has published the listings of 453,220 active lawyers and firms in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Florida and New Hampshire
~ 494,409 editorial listings currently available, including departments, agencies, municipalities, associations, hospitals and other entities. Within these, more than 370,000 data points updated in the past year – addresses, phone and fax numbers, etc.
~ Average more than 65,000 searches performed per month
~ Supported by almost 25,000 hours of research each year by an elite team of LDM researchers

“The growth and success of LDMonline is attributed to the quality of its content. We’ve found a niche among legal professionals who need accurate information at their fingertips,” says Andrew Strauss, CEO of Skinder-Strauss Associates, the holding company of Lawyers Diary and Manual. “Subscribers often comment that they’d tried basic Internet search engines to find similar information provided by LDMonline, but they inevitably spend immeasurable time searching, only to display results that may or may not be accurate. LDMonline quickly provides answers they can trust,” he adds.

LDMonline was an especially useful resource during the months immediately following Hurricane Sandy when many in the Northeast found themselves in transition. Physical addresses, phone numbers and fax lines were continually updated amidst relocations, allowing subscribers to stay connected with their profession during what was a difficult time.

LDMonline users are able to create and store notes and favorite listings with searchable annotation and bookmarking, and every subscription includes complimentary mobile access. Subscribers can download vCards to compatible address books, link to Google maps, and access county and court jurisdiction information, along with a variety of other useful resources including fee schedules, motions, and other practice-specific calculators. Individual LDMonline subscriptions per jurisdiction range from $49 to $74, with site licenses considered for firms with 10 or more users.
