Maria Noto is certified by the NJ Supreme Court as a criminal trial attorney and is a past President of the NJ Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Ms. Noto started her career as an Essex County public defender where she enjoyed a large number of trial victories. She started private practice as a member of the defense team in USA v. Accetturo, in which all 20 defendants were acquitted after the longest federal criminal trial in New Jersey. Ms. Noto has been named a Super Lawyer by NJ Monthly from 2005 to the present and in 2014 she was chosen to be on the cover of Super Lawyer Magazine. She has often been called upon to teach trial skills to other attorneys and maintains an active practice specializing in all areas of criminal defense.
